Superb but poor ending.
Storyline is great, extremely well written and superb acting by all the cast, was totally engaging. Unfortunately the end of the second series was literally a disaster with the author throwing the cast and set under a bus, or plane in this case. Step back in time to the start of WW2, through the lives of a small village.
