Spielberg’s first bite. Good horror movie you could watch w your 13 year old grandchild.
I liked the extra interview w Spielberg. There seems to be a few more extras I haven’t gotten to yet. This is a superior horror movie to many that have come out post 1990s. While this isn’t chock full of extras, it has several. I’m not sure if Spielberg wanted Dennis Weaver to be so effeminate, but he comes off as almost unlikeable- at which point you can root for the villian. Duel DVD, great suspense thriller.
Great movie, full of suspense from the very beginning. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. Widely hailed as the greatest made for TV movie ever made. Every camera angle expertly calculated by master director Steven Spielberg. Fast-paced action. The scene at the railroad crossing is the textbook definition of an action thriller. I've never seen anything else quite like it. Brilliant. Astounding. And the commentary by Spielberg is BEYOND fascinating.

Dennis Weaver vs a Truck Dirver with Road Rage
Spielberg's first GREAT movie. Before the term "blockbuster" were associated with his films, long before he received Oscars for directing World War II related films, DUEL was Spielberg's first outstanding movie. Filmed in only 10 days SS directed a memorable made for TV movie about a man who is terrorized by a truck driver through the California desert. I can still clearly remember the first time I saw this movie with my parents. It was 1971 and we were in our living room. It totally unnerved the 3 of us. Great horror flick!
The product is in brand new condition and the image quality is very good considering the age of the movie. Although a theatrical version was later produced, which included a few minor changes, this product is the original, unaltered TV movie version.
