Criterion Collection: Shoah (Blu-ray)
Shoah is a masterpiece of historical value and one of the hardest documentaries to watch! It may not be for everyone or for the faint of heart, but I found it facinating and educational to learn the horrific tragedy that occured by human ideas and hands. If you are a history buff as I am, and love learning new information on the different aspects of history, then this is something worth watching. Shoah is a documentary that is the most unique and emotionally effective view on the Holocaust. The words of the survivors are emotionally bare and difficult to comprehend the horror that Hitler and his band of merrimen (Nazis) thrust upon the world. Now keep in mind that the people in this documentary do not speak English and are speaking in their native tongue, but this documentary does offer English subtitles. The blu-ray set I received was immaculate and practically out of plastic. To receive it at a low price, I could not it the Buy It Now button fast enough, because I have been keeping an eye on this set for several years and even B&N's 50% Off Criterion Sale was not this low, so I snatched it up as fast as I could!!
