Brilliant adaptor - saved me £££'s
This adaptor is superb both in its quality and its effectiveness. It's enabled me to continue to use an existing Dell monitor with a brand new laptop and saved me the cost of buying another monitor. The monitor only has a VGA and DVI port and the laptop only offers HDMI and DisplayPort connections mean that I either had to replace the monitor or try an adaptor. Works really well with DVI connection.
No sound lost. Improved picture quality. If you do have problems. Check out your TV settings before you dismiss this product. My TV has a pc setting and if it's turned off, that picture will be cropped!. Same can go for the audio so be aware. It may well save you time and money. Plugged in plugged out an fell apart
Plugged into back of computer tried to remove loosing button is only on 1 side so had to use a butter knife to slide up between device an computer to unplug as this was only thing thin enough after the button was pressed I removed device and the full outer plastics came apart which I can’t understand as I removed it as gently as possible as I did not what to damage my display as I cannot work without it…Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

cant comment as i am not sure what failed
it didnt work so i dont know if it was the connector or the interface between PC and monitor. It would be unfair to blame the product as i could not prove which failed. I purchased leads elsewhere to go on the DVI-D connections instead and worked fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
