This is an excellent product. It is well made with steel (I believe) blades, strong plastic guards and a comfortable handle. The scissors are razor sharp and the box included a cape, plus oil and a small brush to clean the metal blades. High-quality clipper that is sharp, powerful, adaptable, and moreover made in the USA. The heft and quality control here are obvious compared to more inexpensive units made in Asia. Even while stuck in the covid mess, I was hesitant about cutting my own hair, but I took a chance on this unit and I am happy with the results. I followed the clear instructions and was impressed with how effortlessly the unit cut through hair that was months overdue for a trim. Before using the unit, I was shaggy and long to the point of almost needing a ponytail, and afterwards my hair looked nicely groomed.
