More positives than negatives
What I really like 1. How powerful this is. Gives your carpets a new lease of life-really. I've got long hair and a white cat but there is no trace of either of us. 2. The lift away function This is brilliant for doing the stairs. 3. How easy it is to empty. 4. The headlights making it easy see if you have missed any bits. 5. The clearly labeled wand and hose release. What I don't like so much 1. It is bulky to carry down the stairs and hard to manoeuvre. That lets this model down and other models might be more suitable for some people. 2. The upholstery tool is recommended for doing the stairs but I don't think it is the best, it is curved (not sure why). Also it is hard to get the tools on the storage posts. It would be good to have a tool for general floor vacuuming or hard floors using the hose. You may be able to buy one - but as this machine is not cheap it is reasonable to expect this to be included. So, I would still recommend as there are more positives than negatives, but the weight/ bulkyness might not be suitable for some.

Great cleaning but heavy to handle.
This is a really good cleaning machine with excellent suction and cleaning power. The downside is that it is heavy and not easy to manoeuvre.

would I recommend..... yes
This is my 3rd shark, I still prefer the first one that was replaced under the 5 year warranty, the second one even though I cleaned filters suction loss, I have pets so got the anti hair wrap this time as having girls and myself with long hair, it still wraps some but nothing like it used to, happy with the whole thing the lift away is better than the older ones but would much rather have my first shark over all these, yes I would recommend it, yes it does pick up dust you can't see, yes it does gather hair very well and it is ideal for lift away for stairs, not everyone likes the same products but I prefer over Vax for vacuum now.

Brilliant bit of kit
Purchased as reconditioned by shark themselves but in all honesty I cannot tell the difference between a newbon and this, even comes in original box, instructions etc. Totally unmarked. This is the 3rd shark lift away I've had not because they break but because my son got the first, I was so impressed I got one for myself and then also got one for a friend. Very easy to use, powerfull and clean and easy to empty out. Would definitely recommend these vacuums.

its probably as good as any other hoover
it took me a few days to get used to the new hoover ,but its getting easier now It appears to be reliable. The empty function was a bit awkward but I imagine itll get easier

Excellent all around hoover: great suction, value for money, versatile with lift away function and multiple uses on the release wand. Only downside is the 6.7kg weight to push around but assuming your fit and healthy it's not a problem.

Brilliant
This hoover is the best one we've ever had, we own two German Shepherd Dogs and a carpet can be covered in dog hair in minutes but the Shark AZ910 vacuum cleaner takes it all in it's stride. The collection pod looks small against other hoovers we've had but it copes very well and holds more than you would think. The lift away is easy to use and it's ideal for doing the stairs. If you have dogs this hoover is a must have item.
