Thin & nasty......
There were several different types / brands listed so I went for a "known brand". Bad move...just goes to show that the name means nothing, this is made from a thin & nasty material and I can't see it lasting that long...I hope I'm wrong but...!! Years back we bought one from a garden centre which was thick & tough and lasted for ages but unfortunately we can't remember the make and despite trying several others we haven't found one that is any good, I've been sorely tempted to by a thick tarpaulin, cut it up & make my own !! Thin material washing line cover
Not a heavy duty cover, made from thin material which ripped at the top within a few weeks. Tied a bulky knot in the top which made the cover shorter but it did cover the washing line. Thought it might last a bit longer but no ,now has another hole in the top & is shredding, so not recommended to last. Will now have to buy another cover, will try a heavy duty one this time which is what I had before but bought from a garden centre & cost more but lasted much longer,(years not weeks).. Lightweight but covers well.
Fairly good quality product, however, it’s stated this cover would be suitable not only for Rotary lines but also parasols. Not so, it’s a really slim fit even for my not overly large folded rotary line. Otherwise, no problems. Sturdy, good value for the price.
Better quality and finish than previous covers I've purchased, looks like it will keep the water out unlike the "cloth type" ones. Fitted over the rotary airer easily, so far no tears or splits when taking it off or putting it on after using airer. Sturdy and robust material(PVC type) compared to my last one made of permeable fabric which deteriorated quickly by weather and got torn within 1 year of purchase! More robust than a great number of these. I fitted s flower pot into the top of mi e as previous ones from different manufacturers had all torn at the top becsuse of the arms. Generally good cover.
I am happy in general with cover but it could have been so much better by having a catch on the draw strings. I tried to use catch from old cover but it's string was so much thicker, so was of no use, then had to thread thick string into new cover and that was not easy. All due to not having a catch fitted. Looked good to start with but fell to pieces within a month
The cover fitted well and appeared to be as described in size and appearance. When the rain arrived it seemed to run off it. However within a month the cover was falling apart in several places. Trying to pick it up now felt like tissue paper and it tore just as easily. It became useless extremely quickly and a complete waste of money.
