If you are expecting the same function as a gas powered saw you will be disappointed at first . The rpm of the chain is much slower. That said, after using the saw for a few days to cut brush I got used to the slower rpm . Saw does just what I expected. Fit isn't perfect
The new, higher capacity battery is awesome and does work fine. Charges fine too. Where I have an issue is with the fitment. In the charger, and the tools, the battery is VERY difficult to get into and out of the battery slots. I haven't looked at it super closely yet to see where the binding is occurring, but it's a real pain to get the battery out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

"VERY SURPRISED WHAT A LIFE SAVER"
I did not know what to expect in a battery powered Chain Saw so I looked around and saw that this one ran on the most Volts and decided to purchase it. Was I ever surprised. Boy it did the job with ease. It has just enough to cut 4" & 5" limbs in due time, just do not be in a hurry. It is lite weight and easy to handle. I am 77 years old and it is a life saver. I was doing all my tree trimming with a limb saw and it was wearing me out. I don't even have to rest using this Chain Saw. Surprised
To be honest, I really didn't expect much from a battery powered chainsaw but was I surprised. I took it out and tried it on some trimming work I needed to do and though it doesn't match my gas unit, I was amazed at how well I did do. Now I will use this instead of my gas saw whenever I have smaller jobs to do that aren't worth the trouble of mixing the gas and oil and all that. Don't waste your money
Product won't keep the saw running nearly as well as it oem weaker brother of 2.5 amp.. I have to release the trigger and pull it again inorder to keep going. Probably a weak bms.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
