We'll put it that way that the original splinter guard was worn off due to lack of care, I had to practice somehow :) but then to replace it for a few quid, I think this is an absolute bargain. Dont waste your time buiyng other product - Makita rubber is weally the best
I am Dewalt user not Makita BUT the one thing i would like to say that the Makita RUBBER is really good.
