Fantastic deal on the perfect small fridge big freezer designed for the smaller household.
I had been looking for fridge freezer with a larger freezer NPD smaller fridge, this Beko was being sold by OA and Curry’s. I found this exact same fridge with a very tiny dent (you’d be pushed to see it) on an ex display model and saved almost 25% of the list price. This is a brilliant freezer for a couple without children. The fridge is adequate for all the fresh food needed for 2 people on a weekly shop. But the freezer has 6 full sized frost free compartments which is perfect for holding all the frozen foods for a monthly shop. On paper it looks good, but.........
40/60 is supposed to mean 40% fridge and 60% freezer but volume wise it seems like about 50/50%. The interior light is in the centre roof of the fridge from where it shines down through the shelves and fully illuminates the larder area, UNTIL you start putting food on the shelves. Then the space gets significantly dimmer. The larder shelves are toughened glass which is disconcerting when putting glass jars and similar into the fridge, as they 'chink' alarmingly. The freezer drawers don't accommodate a 10" pizza in a box. But at £350 or so, I suppose it's as good as you can get for the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good 60/40 split but narrow
The fridge isn't wide but for the space we needed it in was perfect. Okay so we have it in a garage and this is supposedly made for outbuildings where several fridges have passed out due to internal issues caused by temperature fluctuations. It's not even a month old but hoping it does it job. 5 draws are helpful but they are all small so everything in a normal 4-level fridge takes up all 5. No issue for me though.
