Lightweight and perfect with the adjustable footrest
I bought this wheelchair for my mother. Very happy that I can fit a wheelchair in my small car. It is light enough for me to pick up. My mother is 90kg and she said that it was very comfortable and wide enough for her. For me it was easy to maneuver and for mother the best thing was the adjustable footrests as she is under 5ft. Handy chair for trips out.
I’ve not tried any other wheelchairs so I have nothing to compare it to. We bought it to take Grandma on days out. She seemed very happy in it and it was ok to push around. It even managed country footpaths ok (with my stronger husband pushing it). We also bought a wheelchair cosy blanket thing for cushioning and warmth. Lightweight, easy to lift in and out of car boot and very easy to open out and fold up. Seat is comfortable without a cushion. Handbrake on rear wheels for safety. I'm over 6 ft tall and I don't need to bend forward when pushing the chair. That's a huge bonus for me! I'm very pleased with this wheelchair that I have bought for my elderly mother. It's lightweight, sturdy, easy to fold and put in the boot of my car on my own. She says is comfortable to be in I think it's really good value for money .I think it would be safer to supply with a seatbelt, I purchased one from the local mobility shop for £15 .
