Cheap and Cheerful
First tried a dearer lens cleaner, no use. Thought I would give this one a try as it used a liquid and left it running in CD player on repeat, taking it out and using liquid on brushes again and after about an hour tried a CD and what a difference. Do not expect it to work every time after just one cycle, give it a few goes (do not need to play it through your amp). But best of all if you can easily get to the laser, a cotton bud and meths is I my opinion the way to go.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Laser Lens Cleaner
I gave two stars for very prompt dispatch and delivery! First of all it said on the packet to put one drop of the cleaning solution on the white cleaning brush on the DVD Lens Cleaner. Both cleaning brushes were red! I put a drop of the cleaning solution on one of the brushes and inserted the disc in my DVD player as directed. Pressed 'play' on the DVD player and got the message 'cannot read this disc'! Rotated the DVD lens cleaner several degrees and repeated the process several times and kept getting the same result....'cannot read this disc'!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Definitely worked for me
This kit sorted the problem I had of skipping cds which only manifested after I replaced my 30 year old player with a brand new one. I took the advice of another review to run it several times for the best results and it worked perfectly the first few times. Far better than a much dearer product from a rival brand which failed to resolve the problem and almost led to me returning the player to the retailer as being faulty. It still occasionally skips but nowhere near as frequently as previously but this is soon sorted by rerunning the disk. I have to admit to having misgivings prior to purchase because of the low price but I'm pleased to say that these were unfounded.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Clean as a whistle
My main disappointment is the packaging doesn't allow for permanent storage, but there again, you get what you pay for. It's worked fine on my CD, DVD, Walkman, and the only bit that bugs me is that some of my devices won't skip tracks forwards, so I have to sit through around 11 different language versions of the same thing. A big disappointment

Bright idea
The lens cleaner is easy to use, you just apply a drop of cleaning fluid to the small brush to one side of the disc anthen put it in your device with the arrow pointing forward, as it spins there is a pad opposite the brush on the same side and that buffs the lens. Let it run and then remove the disc, your device is now ready for use with crystal clear pictures and sound. A few minutes, like the small cost,well spent!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
