It IS compatible with the latest BimmerCode App
The latest version of BimmerCode says it is not compatible with the latest Vgate OBD adaptors? But the one I have which is the latest Vgate works fine with BimmerCode, no errors or issues whatsoever. Naff…!! total waste of money…!!!
Would not work with my iPhone I tried all the apps to download and some I paid to use. The closest I got was after time spent waiting for Vgate icar pro BT4.0 OBD2 to load only then for it to do nothing. Lovely Bit of Kit
Bought this to check my ABS light and rather than pay a garage thought I would buy one of these. Bought this one over the cheaper stuff on here as I have heard the name before and it has a faster rate of PID reading compared to the cheap one. This for code reading not so important but to use this tool for live data through apps like Torque Pro, means I can have more items to look at and the gauges are a lot more smoother as read/write is quicker. Not paid for the app that comes with the device but can get loads of apps for free to read codes and just a few quid if you want to wipe the codes off of the ECUVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good coding OBD adaptor

This is the real ELM327
Buying a ODBII scanner can be tricky, since there are plenty of cheap ones out there that don't work correctly. This is a bit more expensive, but it works without any problem with me. I use it with an iPhone on a BMW motorcycle (2010 K1300R). Actually I went first for a cheap one from another seller (under £10) and it only worked once, before failing. This has been working without any issues for a while now. Just note that, if you use an iOS device, the bluetooth signal does not show. You have to open the OBD app and then, from the app, select the bluetooth device. Top quality adapter.
After wasting money on 2 other cheaper adapters that claimed to support all OBD2 protocols but didn't work on my MG ZS EV, I decided to buy this one which works perfectly. It is very good quality and nicely packaged in it's own plastic box and a little instruction booklet.
