Worth every penny !
I recently moved into a flat from a victorian townhouse along with our 10 year old outdoor tabby. 3 differing conventional litter trays later, I despaired (my cat was fine - I hated seeing it & dealing with it all) then I saw this! I had trepidations that she would use it, she may be an outdoor cat, but is scared of her own shadow ! Hates anything with noise, hoover, etc and dislikes the unfamiliar. All the scratch posts, toys, basket bedding I have bought over the years have been flatly rebuffed. So, would she use this? Especially for my sake ! I thought this would be a very long process knowimg Lola. But no, i followed the advice that came with it, ie sat it beside old litter tray, dont empty it (urgh) and because of this she went in voluntarily to the scoopfree one ! I took away the conventional one and that was that ! Its just fantastic, works like a dream, haven't changed the tray as yet (week 3 nearly) no smell, always clean, purrfect. Happy cat, happy me 😊. Just to note, it is large, so make sure you measure up and have space for it, also needs to be near a plug point - we had to drill hole to extend cord to nearest plug point. Is worth the effort ! Just ok
Initially seemed great , but it does not clear looser waste, just clogs the rake which is very unpleasant to clear, worse than scooping a normal tray. 10 days in use and the tray needs changing, although only used by one cat who goes out too. Best thing ever!
New cat needed cat litter tray, I'd forgotten how awful it is changing cat litter. Life changing!
We had one of these when we last had cats. As soon as we moved to a new place allowing pets we got a cat and one of these straight away. May cost more than using a normal litter tray but the benefits more than up for it. Over a week since putting the first cartridge in, we’ve still not had to do anything with it.
