4.5* (needs Nova launcher to be complete).
Battery lasts 2 days of reasonable use or 30 mins (adds 60%) on the very fast charger will do one day..Coming from an Android One phone, I like the Huawei add-ons e.g. double tap of knuckle for a screenshot. However the built in launcher is too basic so it needs Nova (Prime) launcher to be complete.

Great value reliable phone
I have always had Samsung phones so this was a nice surprise to find its a great phone. The graphics and emojis colour definition is really good. The camera and video is amazing. Battery life is so much better and lasts longer than my previous phone. All in all its a really good phone.

Good but not great.
This is a good phone that takes excellent photos That said, the changes from the P20 are quite small and we are now only getting incremental advances. I expect to keep this for a couple of years as the P40 offers virtually no improvements at all.
