Good product. Desalt 1/4” drive impact 12vlt.

20V Dewalt tools are weak.
I have been using Dewalt battery power tools for over 25 years. I used the 18V for over 20 years and recently decided to upgrade my battery tools. After some research I decided to go with the Dewalt 20V Max Brushless 1/2" drill driver, 1/4" impact driver, LED light and the sawsall. I have noticed that the batteries do not last very long and have much less power than the old 18V tools. Even with a fully charged 5AH 20V max battery I can hold and stop the 1/4" impact driver? The sawsall tool last only about 3-4 minutes of cutting before the batteries need to be charged? The LED work light lasts about 30 minutes with the 5AH battery? A Lightweight,Ergonomical and Durable Impact Driver.
This small impact tool is not so big but it's not too small and it just and an ergonomically lightweight. It fits on your hand with a 2.0 mAh small battery pack. This is a brush less impact driver with less motor contact wears out and I confidentially purchased this as used one that it's pretty much beats up from preowned but it still working flawlessly. This 877 model is slightly larger than the 850 compact model costs over a hundred dollars with a B model which stands for bare tool only no battery or charger included. Both models have the same functioning but different in sizes and prices. What I really like this Dewalt DCF-887 20v impact drive is it equips with 3 led lights located on the front which right behind the drill with directly focus and illuminates toward the job and quite bright. It has the lock button behind the trigger,press the button to the left side the drill will turn right. Push the button to the right,the drill turns left just like you remove the screws or nuts. Position the button to the middle is locking when the jobs are done to keep the tool safe. I also like the 1-2-3 drilling speeds variable choices. I use a lower speed 1 on a light work such as sheet rock and thin wooden materials,2 on the thick wood or thin steel drilling and three on the high speed on the impact for unlock wheel nuts on the SUV and the drilling the thicken metal or the big red woods. Although its compact,this impact driver is quite powerful with bears the "XR"(extra running time) series that'll get your job done in the short time. If you involve in a heavier job you'd better get a Dewalt 5mAh pack cell and the tool will keep running and running. But the drawback will be super heavy with the big battery pack adapt to. The reason I like this Dewalt impact driver is it is so lightweight and ergonomically fits on my hand and this impact driver is so durable and smooth when I put it to work and it never letting me down. However, this tool is an idealism for the small job site or a standard household like me and it is a great helping hand and it'll server you for years to come.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
