I like the brew strength and temp setting.
Overall I like it. Here's a couple minor issues I'd have done differently. 1) Water, coffee fill lid has very small indents on the sides. Either you need to use 2 hands, one on ea side, or get a finger nail under the lid. I'd make the indents under the lid deeper by 1/8th of an inch. they're maybe 0.030" deep. For big male fingers with no nails, hard to get under the lid.
The basket that holds the gold, or paper filter, fits snug. There's a plastic loop to pull on to remove for cleaning, but I saw nothing in the instructions showing or stating that. For fear of breaking it, it took me a couple days to yank on it hard enough to pop it out.
Water fill point and water level indicator are in the back corner. That requires the lid to be opened 90 degrees. That means it needs to not be under a cupboard. It's also hard to hit the corner fill pt. with the carafe. It hits the lid as you tip it up. Of course you can fill with a bottle.
I do like the conical filters it uses over the flat bottom basket style. Not a fan of the included gold tone permanent filter that's included. Even 8 scoops (Their supplied scoop ) of coffee will almost overflow the basket. They warn you of 12. Might happen with less.
I did notice some very fine grounds in the carafe using the gold filter. Went to paper and no grounds.
