Terrible mechanism
Changed code as instructed. Tested opening and closing. Fitted it to the wall, locked box. When I opened it back up and then tried to lock it again it would not close looks like the cogs had failed. Well worth the money
I bought this item as I had also bought a personal alarm and needed a key safe for emergency entry to my home I was impressed with the build quality, it is quite a heavy item and the code system is easy to set and access However, the screws supplied were not, in my view, substantial enough for the purpose of securing this device to a wall. I substituted longer screws. Also the 'template' provided for the device had holes arranged in a triangular fashion whereas the device holes were arranged in a square! I would recommend this device and particularly the price. The price the personal alarm company quoted was £70!! I would also recommend getting tis device fitted by a professional to ensure security, as I understand these devices can be targeted and prised off the wallVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a really excellent product that I can definitely recommend to everyone. I had to have a Keysafe fitted before my Emergency Falls and Safety System could be installed. When the technician came to install and test my system he was very impressed with the wall Keysafe. As an extra point of praise before I needed the Safety System several of my neighbors needed Wall Key Safes fitted and I fitted the ones they bought.
