This stereo system is compact and really good looking. It belies how it can fill a room with good quality sound without taking up huge space. It is versatile with ability to accept signals from a turntable and/or tape unit or MP3 type player. The unit has its own tuner and to cap it all, a remote so you don't have to keep getting up. Not that good
Don't get me wrong. A great little set with some nice features. BUT, when connected up and sound turned up a bit then all becomes apparent. For this set to be 150 watt per channel I would expect it to have decent speaker wire and not the 'door bell' type that is currently used. If one were to turn the volume up high I do not think the set would last long before the cables over- heated or the amplifier blew up. As the warranty is one year I will wait that long to replace the cable for something decent before more than half volume is used. Compared to my other shop bought Panasonic set with only 20 watts per channel and manufacturer supplied decent speaker cable this system does fall short. Other than that, the system does seem to work okay, is functional and would seem to be the normal for Panasonic good engineering.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Good value for money
This unit has great sound. Compact and easy to set up, although I do recommend you read instructions. Good preset equaliser and also manual control. Love the surround sound option. Cheap for a reason
Maybe I've been spoilt by other Panasonic items I've owned (that were admittedly a lot more expensive), but I expected a lot more. The system is ugly. Really ugly. The speakers are bulky and plasticy. The main unit is gaudy and cheap looking. If you look at the back of the speakers these look like really cheap speakers immediately. To be honest, I just wanted a Bluetooth stereo with deep bass and clear sound, so I could have forgiven the above, but it fell really short on that too. It sounded terrible. Again we have probably been spoilt by more modern products out there on the market, but this wasn't listenable. I ran my DJ equipment through it and my phone on Bluetooth. All at appropriate levels. At whatever volume it sounded muffled. The bass was not too bad, but there was no clarity to the sound of any of it. Sent back.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Better than I anticipated from a compact system
I didn't know if to buy this system,after years of seperates and all the wiring etc that comes with them,I wanted a change,being an owner of other Panasonic products,it seemed logical to keep with Panasonic,I didn't expect anything like I get from my dedicated seperates system but I'm definitely not dissapointed,the amount of options for this system is not overly complicated,it's quite easy to get to grips with and in no time I had this set up that was easy on my ears,the radio is clear once tuned in,the cd playback is above average,the Bluetooth has worked with all my compatible devices with no problems at all,I've not tried the jukebox yet I've plenty of time to do that later,it has bass that's not overly exaggerate,the mid range is fine and the treble sounds well too,all in all a very good little system that never tries to do more than its capable of and let's you enjoy music,radio,and Bluetooth playback with good sound quality,what surprised me more than anything else is that I didn't expect to hear such good sound quality from something so light and small,I'm highly satisfied with the price I paid for this product and I would have no hesitation in reccommending this product to anyone considering purchasing this product,you definitely would not be wasting your money,so on that note,this system gets a thumbs up from me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Basic but sounds good
This little hi-fi is a little basic in its functions but sounds good. Only problem I have had is it doesn't want to connect bluetooth to more than 1 device. Had to un-pair the 1st phone to connect a second as it was just searching for 1st one even when I turned my blutooth off. Turned stereo off and back on after un-pairing and it became visible to the 2nd phone. A bit annoying. Only had the volume on 27 so far and it's very loud and lovely and clear. Cute little hi fi well worth the money especially as although the box had clearly been opened before and no packing material in it, everything inside was in sealed bags. Not a mark on it. Great I love it
It is soooooo loud & it looks so sleek & goes with the colour scheme of my front room the kids love it too it will fit in with our family, it is so cheap but such a good piece of equipment & the sound quality it’s huge the only problem was I didn’t get the DAB Ariel and missing so cirite something or the other can’t remember the name now. So a little disappointed when I emailed Argos to let them know they said I would have to return it which I didn’t want to do I just wanted the bits that were missing & weren’t going to budge on the subject so now I have to buy the spare parts myself out of my own pocket which should of been in the box so that’s the only down point on it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Brilliant Machine
Bought it as a budget ish Mini HiFi system for my 600sqft tin Industrial unit. I was worried it wouldn't sound that great. Absolutely amazed with it. The quality is brilliant, especially via Bluetooth. FM is ok too. I do have to turn the bass boost off when going to radio though. Goes extremely loud whilst retaining crisp sound.
