Great drill, heavy but very solid and capable
Wasn't sure about this, it is brushless but has been around longer than many competitor's equivalents. I needn't have worried at all though; it is a great drill, quieter and more comfortable than my DeWalt equivalent had been, and just as capable if not more. It is reasonably heavy, but not ridiculously so (I wouldn't choose it for small stuff like flat-pack screws), but it is also solid and chunky as a result. The chuck is metal, good quality and true-running, the gears are also metal. The side handle is a work or art, though its unusually long length may be awkward to fit in some places. If you can only carry one drill with you
I work as a handyman/flat pack assembly in London, being on a motorbike I can only carry so much. But this drill is amazing and versatile. One day I’m going through red solid brick the other assembling a small nightstand using the screwdriver setting.
