Fast, portable and easy to use
I've only been cutting wood for 9-10 years, had my share of being out in the woods and my chain is dull. The time I lost pushing through I could've drove home and brought back a sharp one twice over. I have two electric grinding wheel style sharpeners, some people swear by, me it seemed I ground down the tooth down at the top, the only true sharp tooth is like how they come new, with a semi-circle angled cut under the tooth which is what this does. It's portable, you don't have to remove the chain, and makes it right every time. The other thing I liked was, you don't have to turn the thing around to do the teeth going in the other direction. One tip I'd pass on, set your angle exactly as the manufacturer specifies. I had two chain saws, one called for a .030, the other .035. I tried doing both at one or the other, those chains went in the trash. It's like the whole chainsaw seems built around the angle specified.
