Quiet on all but the 'Turbo' setting
Even then, at turbo it's no louder than our pedestal room fan. As far as the air filtering, we have a neighbour in our building that smokes. Higher price but well designed and works well
I have a preowned unit. I like the air quality sensor with auto fan speed. Comparing with the Dylos air monitor it is within similar ranges. Other thing I like is 1-1.5 year filter changes. Very energy efficient. I think silent mode is less than 5watts. Turbo is 75-85watts. My preowned unit is at least 8 years old but seems to run just as good. Nice decorative way to clean the air.
Filters are a bit pricey but considering you only have to replace once a year, it all balances out. I really like that it goes into standby mode when all the lights go out for 3 minutes, then utomatically pops back on when the lights are on.
