The Scosche Magic Mount
The Scosche Magic Mount is the best available in today's market, it is powerful enough to hold any mobile phone or sat nav, it has a thumb nut wheel at the back which locks up and keeps your device secure, can be fitted to a small area and takes up very little space. I have purchased three different Magic mounts in the past and I am happy with the build quality and how nice they look on the dash, the only thing that lets it down is the sticky tape they use which doesn't hold for long on a fine textured surface.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good product - adhesive could be better...
The actual unit is great! It is very sturdy with a strong magnetic hold, even with a big phone (Nexus 6P). They only thing that let it down was the adhesive to bond the mount to the dashboard. I followed the instructions but it just wouldn't stick to my dashboard (I have a 2011 VW Caddy). In the end I put a few drops of super glue on the adhesive pad & stuck it on that way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says.
I'm not sure why no-one thought of this years ago. It's much neater than a standard holder and much less fiddly. The only minor downside is that the sticky pad for mounting the magnetic holder to the dash only really works well on smooth surfaces.
