It's too early to say but I'm hoping the marble plates last longer than the non stick plates of the salter one I borrowed before deciding to buy this one. Am so far impressed with this. It's so easy to set up and two eggs take no time at all to whisk up with a fork. I'm on a diet and this is my emergency go to when I'm in danger of reaching for the wrong foods. Great for lunch time omelettes with some salad as well. Cooks those eggs brilliantly. It says 5 minutes to cook but I've settled for 4 minutes for 2 large eggs, but if you add some cheese on top then 5 minutes is about right. Enjoy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
