The final film in the long running British comedy series, CARRY ON COLUMBUS features the same combination of broad humour in a genre or historical setting as its predecessors. Christopher Columbus (Jim Dale) believes he has found a way to reach the Far East without travelling through the lands of the greedy Sultan of Turkey. Convincing the Spanish King and Queen of the merit of his idea, he sets sail to the West. But the Sultan, not about to let his trading routes be circumvented, sends his finest spy, the luscious Fatima, to stop Columbus using any means necessary.
