Disappointed.
I'm a huge Godzilla fan and I own every Godzilla movie made, both Japanese and American. This is the only Japanese one that disappointed me. It is no where near as good as it's predecessors. A Masterpiece, But Not In The Way You'd Expect
If I had to sum this movie up in one word, it would be "bonkers." From the scene-chewing living temper-tantrum that is the villain, to Godzilla's "FIGHT EVERYTHING" mentality, to the implacable Captain Douglas "Screw You, I Do What I Want" Gordon, this movie is an absolute trip from start to finish.
