Should’ve got the Oscar- one could say that about many Newman performances but his performance in this is his greatest. An actor and star at the height of his power. A compelling court room m drama written by David Mamet. Excellent supporting cast and a twist you won’t see coming. The don’t make films like this anymore. Having just seen the play (at Malvern Theatre), I was delighted to discover that a movie already existed! I was not disappointed! Newman put heart and soul into this courtroom drama.
