Having lost the stones after a final battle with Phalanx, you must survive through multiple attacks from goblins, ghosts, and strange creatures trying to derail your quest. However, you can breathe fire, claw walls, use additional weapons, and fly across a series of challenging levels. Once you defeat various enemies, you gain exciting transformations and abilities to help you fulfill your mission. Utilize talismans, potions, and spells to get through the Demon Realm in Demon‘s Crest and enact your revenge.

An underrated gem for the 16-bit wonder
Demon's Crest is a vastly underrated SNES game that features a nice blend of linear/non-linear gameplay. The game has great visuals, the music is very ethereal/atmospheric, and there is plenty of challenge to be had here. If you enjoyed either of the original Gargoyles Quest games (particular GQ2 for the NES), you'll love Demon's Crest!

Demon crest is definitely one of the most challenging games the super nintendo has ever made. With top notch graphics and challenging game play that gets you to come back and play more and its value is definitely is worth it.

For collectors, worth the price.
Demon's Crest isn't the MOST amazing hidden gem you'll find on the SNES, but it's a hidden gem all the same. Definitely one of Capcom's more solid SNES titles. If you're a more casual gamer, I'd give it a try elsewhere before committing to the somewhat steep price. If you're a collector, you already know this one's a must-have.
