This movie is a great movie. It brings back great memories to me. My mom rented this movie for a birthday party I had when I was young. Not very good
The disk was all dent up, it played good like 5 minutes but throw out the movie it was just awful. So I take the movie out and see what is wrong and see there was a dent and a little black spot on the disk. So I like to have a new one if I can.

Fantastic romantic comedy!
There are awesome songs in the movie. It is verr good for you g kids 6 years and older.The only violence on the movie is sword fights where no one dies. It is a lighthearted movie, I would classify as almost a musical . It is not singing during the whole movie but there is quite a lotof music. Fun movie with great songs!
This is one of my favorite movies from my childhood! Kristy McNichol is very cute and very funny! She even sings! And Christopher Atkins is lovable, as usual. And Ted Hamilton is super sexy as the Pirate King! A little risque for kids with sexual innuendos, but not crass or vulgar. I don't understand why it got so many Razzie nominations! It's hilarious! Kind of a spoof or comedic adult version of "Pirates of Penzance" (even with some of the same songs). Listen for a little-known song by Kool & the Gang!
