It attempts to honestly examine the competing impulses that beleaguer women in the postfeminist era. Marguerite Moreau stars as Jamie, a career woman who can't seem to find a lasting relationship. Just as she's about to give up entirely, she meets two men at once and gets involved in a love triangle she can't easily extricate herself from. EASY was shot for just $750,000 in only 21 days, and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. The film features music by Grant Lee Phillips.
