Poor capacity
Product is well made and sturdy and basically mirrors the build of a genuine ryobi battery except it’s colour which is all black. My poor review is the fact that the battery does not last under heavy load. It is sold as a 6 Ah battery but doesn’t last a quarter of the time a genuine 5 Ah ryobi model did when mowing the lawn or cutting 30mm kitchen worktops. If you are doing very light work intermittently then these batteries might suit you, but for heavier duty work then I would avoid.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seems to do the job but too early to say if it is good value.
It does the job fine but you can't positively review something like a battery until you have used it for some time but Ebay insist on pressing for a review. It seems to provide plenty power to the Ryobi tools I have used it on and curiously is marked 7AHr not the 6 as advertised. It seems decent enough quality and hasn't shown any quality issues in the very short time I have been using it. The warranty says 5 years and there doesn't appear to be any restrictions on that. If the supplier is still in business in 5 years then it looks like a big plus or perhaps they just have confidence in the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not good
The picture is northing like this just a black lump with stickers which look like thay going To come off its got 8ah on the label I have full charge it and let it run a ryobi light The ryobi 4ah battery lasts 4.30 hours the 8 ah should last 9 hours it just lasted 5.2 hours so must be 5.0 ah it needs to be changed at least 10 time before it bed's in If does not improve then I have been had it seams lighter than ryobi 4ahVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality replacement batteries for Ryobi products.
Purchased as additional batteries for my Ryobi cordless lawnmower. Have used a few times , take about 90 minutes to fully charge and have done the job power wise and last a good enough time to cut a front and back lawn. Uses same original Ryobi charger.

Good price but poor quality item.
I used this battery for about an hour then it packed in. as i needed it i opened it up to fine that one of the battery metal plates had detached its self. I ended up soldering it back on to make the battery work. yes i should of sent it back but i needed it to work now not wait for another week or so till it was replaced. i will not purchase another copy battery again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

You get what you pay for.
It looks the same as the original and it’s a 5Ah battery that fits all Ryobi tools. However it’s much lighter with cheaper plastic body and feels flimsy. Also there’s an annoying rattle as if something is loose inside. If you don’t want to spend the money buying an original then this seems that it will do the job. Not used much so far but tests have proved positive so far. I have a number of Ryobi batteries of various sizes, both genuine and aftermarket and only had 2 failures in 8 years, one genuine and 1 aftermarket. I have many Ryobi tools, this one is too heavy to use in most of them but ideal for the small inverter I use when camping.
