Cold and silent, well worth fitting this
Decided to replace the old stock cooler on my Ryzen 5 system and I found this one to my delight and with no LED's either. Price is good for a chunky style cooler and delivery was fast and secure. Fitting is simple provided you have the correct fitting on your mobo. Mine didn't but I have been able to obtain some AM4 CPU cooler fittings. Once they were secured I took great pains to ensure that all residue from the old thermal paste and traces of dust were well gone and you get a proper cleaner tissue with this cooler to help. Once clean, fitting was simple and I have a nice new cooler on my CPU, on power up the fan was so quiet I had to visually check it was running. With the system running it's usual load I have been monitoring the temperatures and can report that they are holding at a constant 20 degrees cooler than the old set up. Another nice thing is that the fan hasn't run above 900 rpm yet, so remains silent. If what you want is a good standard type cooler with no frills then this is the one for you, I've just ordered another one for my daughters new PC.
