Action packed cartoon for adults!
The Venture Brothers is a spoof of the old 70’s cartoon Johnny Quest. Johnny Quest even appears as a character in this series, as an adult. This is not your children’s cartoon, it’s written for adults, and has language and violence. But it’s very cleverly written, funny, great comedy and lots of excitement. A plot that revolves around an agreement between Super Scientists and professional villains, they operate by a code of conduct by the Guild of Calamitous Intent. Very spy versus spy, cloak and dagger, secret agents and super inventions. From the first episode they do a marvelous job of character development, outlining all the main characters, and the first season ends with a great plot twist! Quality is horrible , soon as I put season 1 disc 1 it didn’t play, I went through the series and found 3 other discs that didn’t play as well as some of the seasons where under different years as duplicates as well as two discs broken .
