When I am carrying it feels heavy, when I am using it feels light.
It is a newly bought blanket which is really 8 kg, I have realized it when the delivery guy did not want to bring it up to the 3rd floor and I went down to bring it up. I took it to the launderette because the household washing machine is not suitable for washing it and in the future, it needs to be washed with a professional high capacity washing machine. The quality is OK so far, but have to add, I just using it for a week. Interestingly when I am carrying it feels heavy, however when I am sleeping and covering myself, does not feel heavy.
