Commanding presence
Once I had it tuned, I played a chord sequence. My husband observed, "Wow! It sounds like a choir!" It has a sweetness, resonance, and a generally commanding presence. Still bright
The use of two strings an octave apart for the D and G strings provides a rich "complete" sound while still sounding closer to that of a uke than a guitar.
