Luxury and excellent
This was a luxury purchase, helped by buying from an excess stock supplier and getting a significant discount on full price. Having had a 'put in the freezer bowl' type maker before, it is great to have the pre-cool function and then go straight into making the ice cream. It makes perfect ice cream. It is rather bulky, so unless you have spare space in your kitchen, you need to think about where you would store it - and then be able to let it stand to settle, after moving, before using again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Brilliant ice cream maker
Its a well made solid construction, very easy to use, no having to put bowl in freezer for 24 hours as it pre chills and the finished product is divine, a very smooth ice cream. After pre chilling it tells you its ready to make ice cream, you set the hardness you require, it can then be set in auto or manual mode, in auto mode (default) it starts the process, tells you when to add other things to the mixture as it churns, at the end of the process it plays you a jingle like the ice cream man. it is so easy to use - I can make ice cream and sorbet at the touch of a button, at a fraction of the price of shop sold desserts and ice creams - and far better . I have built up a stock of various ice creams and sorbets and always have something for dessert. Cant speak highly enough of this machine.
