Applause for Lost on Everest and yawn for Expedition Everest
This DVD contains two films. Lost on Everest is interesting and wonderfully filmed. They were doing unusual things on the north side of Everest. Expedition Everest is not so interesting and not particularly engaging. Expedition Everest shows a group putting up a weather station at base camp on the south side and another on the balcony on the SE ridge. They did not go to the summit.

Great subject, poorly handled.
Great subject with some wonderful footage, but subpar story telling. Why were they climbing Mt. Everest at night? Finding Mallory's body could have been examined more closely, instead 95% of the video was about another body that wasn't found. It reminded me of the Geraldo Rivera show about Al Capone.
