Thrilling series and great acting.
This series is one of the more exciting stories about an outlow motorcycle club and their families. The characters are so well played that it is easy to believe they really are an outlaw motorcycle club-- scars and all. The story goes deep into the roots as to the original nine members who were in Vietnam together. It is just one heart pounding, event after another, never boring, never dull. Sons Of Anarchy has plently of villans and a few heros. The series has some of the best technical effects ever seen on a series and not for the feint of heart. Too Violent
I liked the first few seasons of SOA, but in the end there was too much violence from an "entertainment" standpoint. From the story standpoint, I was hoping Jax would end up with some redeeming qualities. I prefer stories that have a more upbeat aspect to them. The "Sopranos" started it, and "Sons" polished it further to deliver...what? Well, most of us tho we may avoid the actual experience, tend to be fascinated by violence. Who among us hasn't been affronted or victimized by someone whom we wanted to payback? Mostly tho, restrained by conscience and/or fear, we don't act out our violent impulses. Despite the barrage of racial slurs, the show is packed with an abundance of violence, and emotional content. The show is definitely well put together. I believe altogether, it received a 94 on google. With 100 being extraordinary, and 80 being good. Overall, it was great. Very intense. If it was a book, it would be a page turner. No MC acts like this
It's a good show, but as a former member of an MC I have to say that no 1% club acts this way. Although the Sons don't wear a 1% diamond they try to impersonate a 1% club. No bikers would ever rat the way they do or even talk to the police. The things they do in this show are so unbelievable that it became almost ridiculous, but it is spellbinding in its own way. Once you've seen one season, you're hooked. Well written and the presence of some Hells Angels members as characters is pretty cool. I wonder if they had a part in its writing.
