Just HOW much water was in the air?!
I wasn't sure if something like this was worth it as the council flat my family and I live in is not well insulated and we always get condensation on our windows and of course the dreaded black mould... However, this unit surprised me with just HOW much water it collected when placed on the landing between the 3 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs! You have to be careful not to put it somewhere where there is always water (for example, you want it near the bathroom if that's an issue area for you, but not right next to it as it can collect water evaporating from the toilet as it's that strong and you'll be emptying far too frequently. But that water CAN be used to water any house plants though). We got ours during that nasty humid spell of the Summer this year (which brought along with it mould mites :() and it pulled the moisture so well out of the air that it actually felt cooler (all the way downstairs too, which was an added bonus)! Time will tell if it can handle the Winter here as the condensation gets REALLY bad, but I definitely agree that it can handle large homes as long as the instructions are followed. 5 stars from me!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
