Finally took the plunge and glad I did
I hadn’t played a CoD game for years, I’d gotten bored of them and couldn’t justify the outlay anymore. For a long time I found Battlefield provided the better FPS experience. When I heard that Warzone was going to be free to play I had to give it a try and it grabbed me in no time. The slick graphics, smooth animation, variety of weapons and game types were more than enough to keep me interested. It also got me back into playing online with friends and colleagues, something which I’d stopped doing. As they were also playing Modern Warfare I had a look for copies on eBay and eventually took the plunge. Despite some initial frustrations at being shot from every angle, over and over I have adjusted to the multiplayer game style and now happily switch between MW and WZ, enjoying both equally. It’s been a long time since I looked forward to finishing work so that I could fire up my PS4 but this game has done it

Lots to do before you can play.
First, you need internet access and I had to set up an Activision account to get updates that weren’t in the PlayStation store. The updates necessary even to play campaign are MASSIVE. It’s taking players up to 8-10 hours to update. Yes the game is good but it has a lot of installation bugs.

Few more Steps in the right Direction!!
This is actually a really good game i was so supprised, i am like many old school players that are tired of the repetitive gameplay and reskins, but they have finally made steps in the right direction with warzone and the customisation and awesome graphics. If you liked mw2, with the classic maps like Rust and containment, you will enjy revisitng these veteran maps again. Not happy with the pay 2 win, loot box/gambling culture - I do hope t gets regulated, additional content and loot boxes are 2 very different things. Overall quite happy 7/10 worth the time just to play warzone which is the best battle royale game out right now.

Bargain of the year
I'm an older player and have just managed to get a PS5. My friend has a group that plays this game in multiplayer mode every weekend and I thought I had every C.O.D. game going. This one is as good as the rest and, for £6 something (PS4 version) was a total bargain. More please.

Excellent game so far
But a bit slow download as it has a huge data load of online ventures and at times can crash. Graphics are mint. Good story line, but defo not suitable for kiddos, even with blood mode off.

Awesome game with fantastic graphics, especially episode 4 I think it was when you lead an SAS team to conduct a house clearing. Extremely realistic bar a few minor mistakes but the overall gameplay makes up for this in abundance

Great game, already a classic
Fantastic game from the beginning to end. With various difficulty levels including ultra realism. Each individual missions are great and are quite big. There is some parts were sniping is important and stealth missions are on another level. Although frustrating at times , gameplay remains consistent with plenty of action and getting out of sticky situations becomes an achievement in itself. For me, however, my gaming experience has been stifled quite a bit because every now and again it crashes. And when it does it’s always when respawning, having to reboot the ps4 several times in succession. This is the case for all copies. Restart helps but not always. Highly recommended before you get modern warfare 2.

COD modern warfare review
Took a little while posting out but it arrived so no issues. Game takes a while to install & then having to install more separately is annoying but I think that’s something to take up with the game makers 🤣 once it’s on its a pretty good action/shooter game! Never done COD much as I prefer story role play adventure kind of games but thought I’d check the hype :) From what I researched online this 1 is one of the best ones to play
