Corded phone and answering machine
Works very well. I like the obvious green flashing light when you have a message. Only downside is the multitude of awful ringtones. Why no conventional option defeats me.Have ordered a supplementary ringer for £3, so not really a problem. The phone set up is easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tin. However, the ringtones available sound like they are from a Nokia in the 90s, the one I found closest to an actual ring, I can barely hear on full volume. Basic machine priced accordingly

A great, full-featured and user-friendly corded phone.
If you're looking for a corded phone, I'd strongly recommend buying this one, after trying several others, both reconditioned and new from BT and other less well know brands. Why? The sound quality is very good. The handset is comfortable to hold against the ear. It has an answerphone. It's easy to enter all your phone numbers into. It looks nice. 1 out of 3 isn't good
I bought 2 of these thinking because it was BT branded it would be good so one for me and one for mum. One did not work from the beginning it had a very loud hum on the line (to make it worse it was the one I have given to my eldely mum) I sent it back and it was replaced with no problem however now the other phone (my one) is developing the same fault so I am going to have to return it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Good all round phone
This bt phone was a direct replacement of the same model for my parents. To me it seems a little dated, but they wanted the exact replica... parents! It does what they want, stores their most used numbers etc. And they like the ringtone. The cherry on the cake was it was way cheaper off this eBay seller than bt.
