Like it and so far meeting my expectations
I wanted an inexpensive video doorbell but had to see if my house wiring would work. I had to hire an electrician to replace transformer in my home and re-wire. They also installed the Arlo doorbell. I had technical issue with the Transformer, not the Arlo, and replaced the Transformer. Now Arlo is working again. The app gives you step by step directions on how to install. The app walks you through step by step process. I had to call Customer Service 2x because I didn't know if the offline error was the Arlo or my wi-fi. They told me the doorbell needed power, which again was the transformer that blew out for some reason. So far I like the product and like that I'm using something different than a Ring, Google Nest, something not everyone else in the neighborhood has. One slight annoyance is getting notified from the App on all movement types but that is just a Settings change on the app. Your phone will constantly "bing" if you have notifications on from the app with any outdoor movement. You can put in sleep mode or turn off but what's the point if you want to be notified someone is at your door?

Not easy to reset after WIFI outage.
Set up is not intuitive. Also, when we were out of town for a couple of weeks, there was a problem with our WIFI. When the router reset, the Arlo doorbell never came back on line. The troubleshooting screen says that I now have to remove power from the device and let it run the internal battery down completely and then try to restart it. That means turning power off to an area of the house for an extended period of time. Not at all user friendly!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Product.
The product is awesome, be sure to read about the subscription requirement for recording videos before purchasing and also the required door bell wiring, if you do not have a US standard 16 vac wiring already in place you'll have to wire it. I say this because the other arlo products don't require a subscription or wiring. Night vision, two way audio, angle of capture, motion detection distance, are all amazing. Arlo front door bell
Door Bell was easy to install. I did have to change xformer to 18vac because original was only 12vac. Works great with my door bell. I can even mute the door bell but cell phone notification still comes almost immediately! Only thing is the image brightness could be a little better but image is still good. And it paired up with my hub easily. So now i can see front door, driveway and backyard all on app. There is a slight delay from video but not anything that i can't deal with. If you have the right type of existing doorbell and chime transformer and wiring, then self installation is simple. Connecting to your home network or existing smart hub is a bit tricky. I like the features that this video doorbell offers if I could actually get it set up correctly. I'm not sure, it could be my doorbell transformer but so far I have not been able to get the doorbell to work but it does notify me by call when someone presses the doorbell as well as notifying me whenever there is a motion detected at the door.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy installation. I used the angle mount since my doorbell was in a corner. Provides a great view. Like the feature of identifying a package and the link feature to another camera for additional recording. Mine is hard wired so I do not need to be concerned about battery life.
