This energy-efficient appliance features a 47L main oven (Energy Class A) and a 34L secondary cavity (Energy Class B), with versatile cooking functions including 3D Hotair, Hotair Gentle, Conventional Heat, Hotair Grilling, and a Full-Width Variable Grill.
Lovely oven, looks and cooks very well, but has 2 MAJOR FLAWS in my opinion. No1:- The timer alarm volume in BLOODY USELESS. If your sitting in the kitchen then you should just about hear the low sounding bleeps. If you have an extractor working on either medium or high, then you won't hear the timer alarm, it is that quiet. If you sitting in the next room, then you won't hear it either. So unless you like sitting next to your oven whilst your dinner is cooking, then the timer is USELESS. FLAW NO2:- The timer duration only sounds for 10 seconds and then stops. WHO thought this was a good idea??? Surely the alarm should only be turned off by the operator or have a minimum duration of say 3 minutes? Imagine that you get called away from the room for a minute and you miss the QUIET 10 second alarm, when do you realize that your cooking is done, when you smell burning or when you think that your dinner is taking a long time? by then it's ruined. This should be rectified by Bosch free of charge or at less on any further/future production units. I know that most people have an Alexa, (I Don't) and so I have had to buy a separate timer, which is perfectly audible from the kitchen.
I got it thinking it was used (as per description) but it is brand new, not a scratch or dint or peice of dirt. saved £300.
got it fairly quickly.
It was very straightforward to fit and wire in.
The controls are easily understandable and good to the touch.
Manufactured to Bosch's usual high quality. Cooks well, easy to use and should last twenty years like the last one. One minor failing - the cooking complete alarm is a little too quiet!
