Great speaker.
I absolutely love my Sonos speaker! It can't rate it "good value for money" as the normal retail price is £399 but it does provide fantastic sound with loads of other great features including both Bluetooth and Wifi functionality, Alexa assistant and the Sonos app. It's easy to move from room to room as a ergonomic handle is built in to the design. I've used this for music, TV, podcasts etc. Alexa does't seem to work with Spotify (although it's supposed to) however you can access Spotify from the Sonos app.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Would be great if Google assistant worked properly
The Sonos move is a nice, well thought out of piece kit, sound quality is very good & is portable around the house, so great if you are washing the car or doing a workout, you can just pick it up & go. However I could not get Google assistant to work properly, it would answer questions & give me the weather etc but it wouldn’t connect to Tunein or YouTube music although it was added to the Sonos app. I put Alexa on & that worked flawlessly with no problems at all, but Google assistant just wouldn’t work properly & that’s the assistant I wanted, I did try for about 6 hours to make it work, I also contacted Sonos UK (who were very helpful ) I followed there instruction, did a master reset on the speaker & checked there were no software updates available, but still no joy, so I sent it back. My job is a laboratory technician which involves some complicated calibration sequences, so I feel competent in my ability & feel this was a genuine software fault. I did google this issue & other people have had it, admittedly some time ago but it was there. Pity as I really did like this speaker.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great sound
As expected, the Sonos Move produces an excellent sound. The speaker is easy to set up once you have downloaded the app. We are enjoying the Alexa function as we have never used it before. It makes switching the speaker on and off much simpler that our previous device . I suppose our only gripe with it is that we are unable to link it to some of the other apps on our phones eg BBC sounds and you tube (but just ask alexia and it will play a bbc radio station) Maybe there is a way to do this but we have yet to find it !!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Sound
I did a huge search for portable speakers and found that although this was the most expensive the sound quality is amazing. It was a choice between this and the Bose. Just what you’d expect from Sonos and does not disappoint. Quite sizeable and weighty but still fits in well in most rooms. Sound quality is spot on and app easy to use. Usual high quality and easy set-up
As with other Sonos items, it oozes quality as soon as you open the packaging. Within five minutes it was connected to our other Sonos speakers and playing in the garden. The carry bag was an unexpected bonus. The charging unit is an essential accessory. Is it good value? It’s expensive but to quote Rolls Royce, the quality remains after the prices is forgotten.

Great Sonos speaker
Great sounding Sonos speaker. Heavy and well built. Amazing bass for the size of the unit and will play loud. The tweeter is mounted inside the unit and plays through a wave guide - this is to distribute the treble as widely as possible from a single speaker and protect the tweeter (given it can be used outside); as a result the treble isn’t as refined as it would otherwise be but it’s still very good and a necessary design compromise for a speaker designed to be used anywhere. Overall I like the unit a lot snd I’m quite fussy about sound - I use studio monitors as my main music source. In the Sonos range I’d say this is better than the play 1 and closer to the new play 5 (but with less refined top end). Buy with confidence.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent sound on the move
Brilliant addition to my Sonos play5. Use it whilst on the move, sound quality is far superior to my Bose speakers. I love the fact that I can use it with bluetooth as well. Big sounds from a portable unit
Sounds is important to me, and this Sonos Move is incredible. From the deep moaning bass, to the high crisp treble it projects sounds of studio quality across any room. It's portable with a decent battery life. (although the advertised 11 hours...I would question that) Bluetooth compatible and the Sonos app provide enough music to satisfy your listening needs. Expensive and annoyingly the battery seems to go down quick even on standby, but sound is astonishingly good.
