Converted Battery over Petrol
As long as budget allows and you are in the market for a battery powered lawnmower that matches your old petrol model then the Hyundai HYM120Li510 120V should tick all the boxes. Although I have fond memories of my old petrol model in truth it came with noise, smell and having to get the correct mix of oil and petrol in addition to the added maintenance. I have easily powered through my gardens including some long grass after the recent batch of rainfall we have had, running for a total of 70minutes with no loss of power. I have been very impressed with the brushless motor than seems to detect when additional power is required hence saving battery power to run for longer. Excellent machine
Took about half an hour to assemble this fine looking piece of kit, an hour each to charge the batteries, and away we go Set it on the highest of the 10 settings and test run it in the garage. Not worth the risk - buy quality from a reputable company - not this!
The mower would be great valoue- if it worked... It is a slightly chunky design and the build quality is a little course, but it mows well except... I have now had a replacement mower (X1) and batteries (X1) and there is an undiagnosed problem with the thing just cutting out and not working. It is unreliable and I would avoid like the plague because I am now left with an unreliable mower that I can't trust but which won't replicate the fault in the workshop... and despite me sending them videos of the problem they won't agree to refund me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent machine only a smidge away from 5 stars.
I have invested in a few Hyundai cordless tools thinking it would be better to go for a single company and reap the benefit of commonality of batteries across the range. This is certainly true for this tool. On the one hand it is stupidly easy to use and does a superb job at mulching the grass. However, on the other hand, despite having two of the 60v Hyundai batteries it chews through them faster than I expected. This is not a problem provided you have two back up batteries. The blade is very easy to remove and subsequently sharpen which is good. It is slightly let down by its propensity to "stall" as soon as it hits tougher or longer grass tufts but I guess this is a good feature to preserve the working parts so I'm not going to berate it much, as I said it is an easy machine to start and run.
