It works better than the one that I got with the TV which is just over 12 months Since I bought it. I got no help from Toshiba. I have had a couple of Toshiba TV 's you know what will happen next time I require a new TV it will not be a Toshiba. Hope Toshiba takes notes.

Excellent item for being used.
Cosmetically it looks brand new, just has very minor marks on the bottom surface but certainly nothing to bother me. Works perfectly as my daughter had lost her original one in moving residence. Well worth the money. Thank you.

Same as original
The original remote had stopped working so had to replace it. This is the same model and works beautifully. Popped the batteries in and it was ready to use, no programming needed.

Better than originals
We have 2 Toshiba TVs. The remotes that came with the TVs were dodgy - had to press SO hard on buttons to get a response. Bought 2 replacements - based on eBay feedback left by other buyers - "better than remote supplied with TV" - and we're happy to say they are indeed better than the originals.

bought this remote control to replace temperamental old one. appearance and functions exactly the same as old one except this one works perfectly it has been made - presumably in china - transported to england, marketed on ebay, freeposted to me, presumably at a profit and still cost less than six pound. obviously i am very happy and feeling a little guilt not to have paid more. unbelievable

Simple to use, and does what it should!
It is simple, straightforward, and does what it's supposed to. The only other thing I wish it had would be a button to return you to the channel you just left, which - ironically - my older Toshiba from ~10 years ago had! And the function button should be better labelled (i.e. TV, DVD, HDMI etc.). It's not something you can program though.

Should have bought it sooner, old controller had deteriated
Bought as direct replacement due to on/off button not functioning and general deteriation of old controller after many years. It is amazing how much more usable and responsive the new controller is with the tv. Should have bought it sooner! Batteries in, working no issues.
