Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler is a chemically bonded filler and catalyst that provides extremely tough repairs to virtually any wood damage without shrinking or cracking. Fills to any depth and can be drilled, screwed or planed. Ideal for use in interior or exterior wood repairs more than 5mm deep. Typical areas include window frames, sills, doors and door frames. For minor and surface wood repairs use Ronseal Multi Purpose Wood Filler. Available in: Natural, Dark or White. Application: Filling Knife. Drying Time: approx 30 mins. Protection Level: Very High.

Superb product
I am a retired professional furniture designer and maker and rate this filler very highly because unlike pastes and Liberon-type filler products the Ronseal sets HARD and allows proper sanding and finishing. I only use it where colour does not matter, I don't do colour work on my (contemporary design) furniture. I absolutely depend on this filler for reliable filling of small damage where it is not necessary to repair minor damage with wood of the same type.

When I first used this product it was over 30C outside and expecting to be able to work it for up to 30 mins, but it went off in 5 mins. I have used it at normal ambient temperature and it takes about 15 to 20 mins to set. The results are perfect it rubs down to a really fine finish and you cannot see any of the repairs. A top rate product BUT be careful when using it in Hot weather and never mix more than you can use in 10 mins leaving 5 to 10 mins to finish moulding.
