Makita quality and innovation
Expensive but worth it. Makita quality good solid build, nice quiet soft start motor. Mitre up to 60 degree is a nice touch as is it sits flush against the wall because of the front facing rails. The only negative is the weight of the thing but that's to be expected for a saw of this size and quality.

Buy this saw
Spend a while getting things adjusted square as it isn't when unboxed. But once it's set it stays set and will give amazing accuracy, even when adjusted to mitre and back. Lots of moaning about the laser in other reviews, but its position is adjustible too: so spend a few moments setting it and you'll find its excellent. Not a cheap saw. Worth every penny.

Bulky Saw!
This saw is bulky, not accurate needs adjustment which is difficult if you are a beginner. I spent a lot of time trying to adjust. I do not recommend it.
