Not fit for purpose
OEM FLY021 strimmer wire is held in the spool by a wax type adhesive in order to keep tension in the spool and to stop it un-raveling. The picture in the listing shows this type of wire (red with integral thread re-enforcement). What was delivered was the aftermarket (blue) wire with no adhesive which unravels by itself and tangles itself in knots after only minutes of use. I have experienced this with the very cheap replacements in the past. This product is fit for purpose for a Flymo Contour 500XT (for which FLY021) is the recommended replacement part.

Cheap and cheerful
Used on long grass in a garden approximately 20 metres by 6 metres and used up the whole spool. Better than Flymo original
Just got this and the first thing noticed was line is a tad thicker......hmmm I thought. Anyhow, having used this fling lines always snapped against hard edges e.g concrete edging or tree trunks...... not this one and I was absolutely astounded that it never snapped around 200 metres of strumming and edging.
