Quality Product
This is one of the best wash and wax products I’ve used. Having used another brand I switched to Meguiars and never regretted it. The gold shampoo is good for stripping all old wax and dirt off ready to re wax but this stuff is best to use between waxes. Not sure it's worth the extra cash
Not sure if this is any better than it's much cheaper competition! Certainly very easy to use and did work, in that it made the paintwork brighter but did it remove the small scratches as claimed, in my case I can't say that it was totally successful. I used it by hand so maybe I didn't apply enuf pressure!? I intend treating the car again to see if a 2nd treatment is more successful. A little bottle of magic
I've sold and used many scratch removers over the years this is different use it sparingly on swirls and scratches like you would with a "t-cut" type product small circles light pressure I was amazed just how well it transformed the appearance of my my black paintwork. This is a very easy to use one stage product. Used with a drill powered polishing pad and the results were amazing. It even blended in the clear lacker overpaint where i had used a touch up pen. Even deep scratches were removed with a bit of concentrated effort.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

First class results
I have a badly scratched ( swirl marks) black Honda Accord and have a professional electric polisher and compounds to resolve this. Was taking my time gently sorting this, then came across Meguiars ultimate, decided what the heck ; worth seeing if this magic compound worked, no cynicism here!! Have got to say the tests were outstanding, swirl marks invisible, paintwork like new, jury still out on some of the deeper scratches, but they are improved. I did polish hard manually and dont believe the swirl marks are gone, just invisible I guess somehow filling in the scratches in the lacquer. Talking to a friend who has used it, I expect the scratches to gradually reappear over the next 6 to 8 months. This is not to detract from the product. Not as good as I taught it was !
I had some heavy scratches in my car that I was hoping this compound would take out ,with the scratch cutting pad that came with it . I really have to say that I was disappointed in its performance as I googled for the best scratch remover out there on the market and this one came up so I decided to try it out and see if it really lived up to it's name . After bird droppings left Matt black marks on a high gloss metallic black car no polish would remove them. I tried all sorts until somebody told me about McGuires, a couple of minutes work and the finish was restored. Effective bird poo etch mark remover
Clear-coat safe, it removed bird poo etching marks almost completely after just one application. Next wash I'll do a bit more, I'm just being a bit cautious not to screw up right in the middle of my bonnet (hood).
